Why Did AMC TV Move Small Town Security to 1AM?

I am not happy with AMC TV.  I love this little show, "Small Town Security".  It is a reality show that follows the lives of five people who run a security company in Ringgold, GA.

A more unlikely group of reality stars could never have been assembled, in my opinion.  They include Chief Joan Koplan, a 1960s wannabe actress who flirted with Miami mobsters before getting married and becoming a police officer; Major Irwin Koplan, Joan's devoted husband and the most delightful old man; Captain Dennis Starr, who was formerly a woman and now has found a place among warm and supporting friends; Christa Stephens, the receptionist and odd-job queen; and Brian Taylor, the office manager and private investigator.

The third season has become very emotional as the company copes with the loss of a big client to a rival agency and Chief Koplan's sudden illness, a brain tumor.  Captain Starr tries to hold the company together while the Koplan family works on getting the Chief back into good health.

The cast is sincere and funny and charming and they don't have all that silly screaming and plotting that you see on other "reality" shows.  Their trials and tribulations are the everyday sort that most people face instead of the complications that wealthy people face (mostly jealousy from social rivals).

I was delighted to hear about season 3 when the promotional video was distributed on the Internet.  I love this show and follow it faithfully but AMC moved it from the 10PM spot to 1 in the morning.  Now I have to watch it on demand and I am NOT happy about that.

If you don't know about this show I encourage you to watch it.  Start with the first season if you can.  And please visit the official Website to let AMC know you want the show to air at a normal hour.  They also have a Facebook page.
